Registered Manager – Supported Living for Learning Disabilities

About the role

The Registered Manager will lead the Crown Mews Supported Living service for adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs in Peterborough. Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you will be responsible for operational leadership, quality and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day management of the Supported Living service.
• Recruit, develop and support a high‑performing team.
• Conduct staff supervision, appraisals and performance reviews.
• Create and review person‑centred support plans.
• Support individuals and families in making informed choices about care and independence.
• Manage budgets, resources and medication systems.
• Monitor quality, conduct audits and ensure compliance with CQC regulations.
• Promote Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) throughout the service.
• Build partnerships with families, healthcare professionals, commissioners and external agencies.
• Drive continuous improvement and deliver positive outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Registered Manager in a learning disabilities or supported living setting.
• Strong knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and CQC regulatory standards.
• Experience managing budgets and medication administration systems.
• Ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication skills with service users, families and external partners.
