About the role
We are seeking a committed Registered Mental Health Nurse to join a low and medium secure hospital in Charlwood, Surrey. The role involves caring for male patients aged 18+ who are detained under the Mental Health Act and require extended treatment and rehabilitation.
Key responsibilities
- Provide high‑standard care to patients with mental illness and personality disorders.
- Develop therapeutic relationships to enhance patient engagement.
- Adhere to all codes of conduct, standards, legislation and promote ethical practice.
- Contribute to patient assessments, create care plans and monitor progress.
- Lead shifts, mentor student nurses and support the multidisciplinary team.
Required profile
- Qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a current active NMC PIN.
- Strong team‑working abilities and a flexible, self‑motivated approach.
- Positive, caring and compassionate attitude.
- Commitment to high‑quality, evidence‑based care.
