Remote Customer Service Advisor – Temporary (June 12‑24)

About the role

This is a short‑term, remote position supporting a busy online gifting and retail brand during a peak period. You will handle customer enquiries by phone and email, following scripted processes to ensure a consistent, high‑quality experience.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to customer queries via phone and email.
• Follow established scripts and guidelines for all communications.
• Use multiple software systems simultaneously to retrieve and update information.
• Maintain accurate records and keep work organised.
• Escalate issues or request assistance when necessary.

Required profile

• Confident computer user with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Comfortable adhering to scripts and defined processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Calm and focused in a fast‑paced environment.
• Reliable, self‑motivated and detail‑oriented.
• Previous customer service experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Zoom.
• Reliable high‑speed internet connection (minimum 20 Mbps).
• Use of a headset with microphone.
• Ability to operate multiple software systems concurrently.

What we offer

• Hourly pay ranging from £13.45 to £14.80 (Living Wage), dependent on location.
• Seven scheduled shifts between 12 June and 24 June, 9 am–6 pm with a 1‑hour unpaid lunch.
