About the role
We are seeking a qualified teacher to work as a GCSE Spanish (2024 Specification) examiner. The role is fully remote, allowing you to mark candidates’ responses from home using our ePEN digital marking platform. You will contribute to maintaining the standards of the national qualification during the May‑July marking window.
Key responsibilities
- Mark GCSE Spanish scripts accurately and consistently according to the pre‑defined mark scheme.
- Submit sample scripts to your Team Leader by the agreed deadlines.
- Adhere to marking milestones and complete all required administrative tasks.
- Participate in mandatory training sessions between May and June.
Required profile
- At least one academic year of recent teaching experience (within the last 8 years) in Spanish.
- Qualified teacher status and a degree or equivalent qualification.
- High level of subject knowledge to apply the mark scheme correctly.
Required skills
- Proficiency with the ePEN digital marking system.
