Rental Controller – Operations

About the role

Fleet Service GB is seeking a proactive Rental Controller to join its Operations team. In this fast‑paced position you will manage the entire rental lifecycle, ensuring accurate, compliant and cost‑effective service for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage new rental bookings, extensions, terminations and swaps.
• Handle inbound rental‑related calls, emails and portal activity within agreed KPIs.
• Monitor Vehicle Off Road (VOR) rentals and coordinate with garages, suppliers and Technical Services.
• Process damage rental cases, validate documentation, track claims and resolve disputes.
• Maintain accurate system records, notes and booking data.
• Support rental billing queries, invoice validation and dispute resolution.
• Balance workload across calls, systems and shared inboxes.
• Contribute to service improvements and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Strong organisational ability and capacity to handle multiple cases simultaneously.
• High attention to detail, especially with documentation, bookings and invoices.
• Confident communicator with a professional approach to customers and suppliers.
• Comfortable working in a KPI‑driven, fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to make informed decisions within defined processes and authority levels.
