Reservations Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Reservations Specialist to join the Central Reservations Team at Edwardian Hotels London. In this role you will be the first point of contact for guests booking rooms and ancillary services, ensuring a seamless experience from enquiry to stay.

Key responsibilities

• Sell room reservations and ancillary revenue through telephone, email and other approved channels.
• Accurately record bookings and guest preferences in the hotel’s reservation system.
• Provide exceptional customer service, acting as the guest advocate throughout the booking journey.
• Identify guest needs and recommend suitable hotel products to maximise revenue.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure smooth check‑in and fulfilment of guest requests.

Required profile

• Previous reservations experience in a 4‑ or 5‑star hotel environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong telesales and closing ability with a professional tone of voice.
• Ability to listen actively and match hotel offerings to guest requirements.
• High level of knowledge of hotel products and services.
• Proven ability to generate revenue through various channels.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hotel booking systems, specifically Opera.
