Residential Conveyancer Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer Manager to join a supportive legal team in Lincoln. The role combines client‑facing responsibilities with leadership of the conveyancing function, offering a clear path for career progression.

Key responsibilities

• Manage residential conveyancing matters from inception to post‑completion, including freehold, leasehold, new‑build, shared‑ownership, remortgages and transfers of equity.
• Communicate daily with clients via phone, email and face‑to‑face, providing updates and handling enquiries.
• Liaise with solicitors, brokers, estate agents and other stakeholders to ensure smooth transactions.
• Maintain and update the case management system, conduct title checks, raise and sign off enquiries, and handle contract exchanges.
• Ensure compliance with anti‑money‑laundering, data protection and firm risk‑assessment policies.
• Mentor and train junior colleagues, and undertake leadership/management tasks as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a residential conveyancer managing end‑to‑end files.
• Strong organisational and solution‑focused approach.
• Excellent communication skills with clients, colleagues and external parties.
• Collaborative mindset with a desire to share knowledge.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.
