Residential Conveyancer Solicitor – Taunton (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join our family‑friendly firm in Taunton. The successful candidate will manage a varied conveyancing portfolio, working autonomously while benefiting from strong administrative support and a collaborative team environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage your own conveyancing caseload from instruction through post‑completion.
• Handle freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, equity releases, transfers of equity, matrimonial conveyancing and leasehold matters.
• Provide clear client communication and ensure compliance with all legal requirements.
• Contribute to business development and marketing activities on a voluntary basis.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Legal Executive.
• Minimum 2 years residential conveyancing experience.
• Ability to run files with minimal supervision.
• Unqualified candidates with substantial relevant experience are also considered.
