Residential Property Solicitor (2+ PQE) – Bishop's Stortford

About the role

We are seeking a Residential Property Solicitor with at least two years post‑qualification experience to join our client’s established residential conveyancing team in Bishop’s Stortford. The successful candidate will manage a full and varied caseload of residential transactions and enjoy a hybrid working pattern with two days remote per week.

Key responsibilities

• Handle residential sales, purchases, leasehold and freehold transactions.
• Process remortgages and transfers of equity.
• Maintain end‑to‑end case management, ensuring compliance and client communication.
• Collaborate with senior solicitors and support staff to deliver timely completions.

Required profile

• 2+ years PQE in residential conveyancing with case‑handling experience.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage a full caseload.
• Willingness to work from the Bishop’s Stortford office.

Required skills

• Residential conveyancing (sales, purchases, leaseholds, freeholds).
• Remortgages and transfers of equity.
