Residential Surveyor – Remote, £45‑55k base + OTE

About the role

We are seeking an AssocRICS‑qualified Residential Surveyor to deliver high‑quality residential valuations and surveys for a fixed geographical area in Chelmsford, working remotely from home.

Key responsibilities

• Produce residential valuation reports and private home surveys.
• Carry out Level 1 and Level 2 surveys within the assigned area.
• Generate accurate survey reports using modern surveying technology.
• Provide professional advice and maintain high standards of customer service.
• Manage a fixed geographical workload efficiently.
• Meet income and performance targets.
• Participate in regional meetings and team discussions.
• Maintain continuous professional development and ensure compliance with RICS standards.

Required profile

• Experience as a Residential Surveyor, preferably AssocRICS qualified or higher.
• Strong familiarity with residential surveys and valuation reporting.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Organisational skills and ability to work independently.
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.

Required skills

• AssocRICS (or higher) qualification.
• Level 1 and Level 2 surveying techniques.
• Use of modern surveying technology/software.
