Retail Sales Advisor – 20‑hour Part‑time Role

About the role

DFS Furniture Ltd is seeking a friendly Retail Sales Advisor to join its Cambridge store on a 20‑hour weekly basis. You will help customers choose sofas, beds and accessories, delivering a welcoming experience that turns houses into homes.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers, understanding their needs and offering tailored product advice.
• Demonstrate product features and benefits, guiding shoppers through the buying journey.
• Maintain the showroom’s appearance, ensuring displays are tidy and inviting.
• Process sales transactions accurately and handle any follow‑up queries.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve store targets and share best practices.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic, approachable and enjoys interacting with people.
• Strong communication skills and a genuine interest in home‑furnishing products.
• Reliability and flexibility to work during peak store hours, including weekends.

• None specific – full training is provided.
