Revit Technician – Water Engineering (Glasgow)

About the role

Join AECOM's Water Engineering team in Glasgow as a Revit Technician, supporting the design and delivery of critical water infrastructure projects. You will work in a hybrid environment, leveraging digital tools to enhance design quality and collaborate with multidisciplinary engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and lead BIM behaviours across projects, encouraging the use of digital tools.
• Manage and deliver Revit models for multiple water projects, ensuring they meet budget and quality standards.
• Produce detailed Revit models, populate metadata, and incorporate classification data according to project requirements.
• Support the Digital Engineering Lead in maintaining CAD standards, best practices, and advanced modeling processes.
• Participate actively in design team meetings, championing 3D model reviews and mark‑ups.
• Mentor junior Revit Technicians across Scotland offices, providing technical guidance.

Required profile

• Intermediate to advanced experience with Revit and AutoCAD in a construction or infrastructure setting.
• Strong understanding of BIM processes and digital engineering standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid model and communicate technical concepts effectively.
