Roofer – Up to £38,000 + Van & Fuel Card

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Roofer to join The Hyde Group’s property services team in Dartford. You will deliver high‑quality roofing repairs, maintenance and installations for residential properties, focusing on scheduled projects and ensuring customer satisfaction while adhering to strict health and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out planned inspections and assessments of roofs to determine maintenance or replacement needs.
• Perform scheduled roofing repairs and installations, working with tiles, slates, flashing and other materials.
• Apply weatherproofing and protective coatings to extend roof longevity.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow all safety procedures.
• Manage roofing tools, equipment and material inventories for upcoming projects.
• Collaborate with the wider maintenance team to ensure smooth project delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a roofer, preferably on planned or project‑based work.
• Strong knowledge of roofing materials, installation techniques and repair methods.
• Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.
• Valid driving licence and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
