Room Attendant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Room Attendant to join the housekeeping team at The Millennium Hotel London Knightsbridge. In this role you will help maintain the high standards of cleanliness and guest comfort across our 222 rooms and public areas.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and service occupied and departure rooms according to departmental SOPs.
• Prepare sofa beds, extra beds and baby cots as required.
• Change bed linens, make beds and replenish guest amenities.
• Vacuum, dust, polish and sanitise all surfaces and fixtures.
• Report maintenance issues, damages or missing items promptly.
• Follow lost‑property procedures and maintain trolley stock and housekeeping storage in an organised, hygienic condition.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Respect guest privacy and respond to guest requests efficiently.
• Assist with cleaning public areas when needed.

Required profile

• Previous housekeeping or room attendant experience in a 4‑star or 5‑star hotel preferred.
• Understanding of cleaning standards and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically fit to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending and standing for extended periods.
• Positive, guest‑focused attitude and reliable punctuality.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
