RTA Paralegal – Fast Track Litigation, OIC Portal & Recoveries

About the role

Our client, a large UK law firm based in Leeds city centre, is expanding its Personal Injury department. They are looking for experienced RTA Paralegals (or equivalent legal professionals) to join three specialist teams covering Fast Track litigation, the Official Injury Claim (OIC) portal, and recoveries.

Key responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload of Fast Track RTA claims from investigation through to trial.
• Handle OIC portal claims, progressing them through all stages while maintaining high client service standards.
• Oversee RTA recovery matters, investigating liability disputes and maximising recoveries.
• Issue Part 7 proceedings and manage post‑issue litigation.
• Ensure deadlines are met and documentation is accurate.

Required profile

• Previous experience handling a personal caseload within an RTA or Personal Injury environment.
• Strong organisational and case‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication and client‑care skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Knowledge of the Road Traffic Act and Article 75 provisions is advantageous.

Required skills

• Experience issuing Part 7 proceedings.
