RTA & Personal Injury Case Handler

About the role

An experienced RTA & Personal Injury Case Handler is needed to join a well‑established claimant law firm in Leeds City Centre. The role offers a hybrid working model and a strong focus on work‑life balance while managing a dedicated portfolio of Small Claims Track RTA matters.

Key responsibilities

• Manage own portfolio of Small Claims Track RTA matters from instruction through to settlement.
• Draft and issue court proceedings, prepare witness statements and hearing documentation.
• Ensure compliance with all court directions and procedural deadlines.
• Provide support to solicitors on more complex personal injury matters under appropriate supervision.

Required profile

• Previous experience handling OIC and Fast Track RTA claims within a claimant personal injury law firm.
• Good working knowledge of the OIC Portal, MOJ Pre‑Action Protocol and Civil Procedure Rules for low‑value personal injury claims.
• Strong client care and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a busy caseload and meet performance targets.
