Rural Insurance Sales Executive (Office Based)

About the role

Howden, a global insurance group, is hiring a Rural Insurance Sales Executive (office based) in Perth. The Rural Sales Executives sit within the Small Farm Team and act as the first point of contact for all inbound enquiries, offering a broking service for telephone and web sales. They follow up enquiries, signpost them to the right team and onboard new rural customers through proactive client engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Follow up inbound enquiries, signpost them to the correct team and onboard new rural customers
• Ascertain correct client information, broking client insurances and complete compliant, client-centred transactions
• Build strong client relationships and handle enquiries from clients and agents fairly and ethically
• Assist in creating broking information documents and keeping records up to date on Group systems
• Help plan the most appropriate insurance programme for each client and pass information to the right team

Required profile

• 1-2 years of experience in insurance broking
• Sales experience, preferably telesales
• Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent)
• Working towards or having attained Cert CII
• Rural sector knowledge desirable but not essential

• Computer literate
