Sales Account Manager

About the role

We are seeking a confident and ambitious Sales Account Manager to join a well‑established, fast‑growing business in Basildon. The role focuses on generating new business, nurturing existing customer relationships and delivering revenue growth through a consultative sales approach.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through proactive outbound prospecting.
• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline and manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to deal closure.
• Develop strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
• Handle objections, negotiate contracts and consistently achieve individual and team sales targets.
• Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and sales activity in the CRM system.
• Stay up‑to‑date with product, service and market developments through ongoing training.
