Sales Agent

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Sales Agent to join Agria Pet Insurance’s busy contact centre team. You will handle both inbound and outbound calls, providing accurate quotations to existing customers and warm leads while working remotely after a two‑week in‑office induction.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls to assist customers, provide quotations and issue policies for various pet insurance products.
• Make outbound calls to offer quotations to existing customers and warm leads.
• Calculate costs quickly and accurately, delivering clear quotations.
• Explain product features and benefits, helping customers make informed decisions.
• Maintain customer records, process telephone payments and ensure compliance with security protocols.
• Close sales using a consultative approach and consistently meet sales, service and productivity targets.
• Record and update policyholder information in the in‑house computer system.

Required profile

• Proven success in a sales role within a contact‑centre environment.
• Experience selling in a regulated setting and comfortable following scripts.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to exceed productivity targets.
• Effective questioning, listening and clear communication skills, both verbal and written.

Required skills

• Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office.

What we offer

• Starting salary of £25,178 per annum.
• On‑target earnings potential of £30,000‑£32,000 per annum.
• Full‑time 36‑hour week, Monday‑Friday, rotating shift pattern.
• Remote work arrangement with a two‑week in‑office induction.
