Sales Consultant - Estate Agent

About the role

Osprey Property, a local estate and lettings agency with branches in Oakham, Stamford, Oundle and Melton Mowbray, is recruiting an on-site Sales Consultant in Melton Mowbray. It joined LRG in 2025, giving its team the support of a national organisation while keeping its local identity. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday 08:45am to 5:30pm and every other Saturday 9am to 1pm, with pay negotiated depending on experience.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and maximise business opportunities
• Advertise properties, handle booking of viewings and register applicants
• Provide exceptional customer service by phone and in person
• Achieve personal and branch sales targets
• Introduce new business and build alliances with local developers through networking
• Act as the link between clients and vendors, sharing information
• Build strong internal and external relationships
• Prepare accurate property details and enter data correctly
• Handle a property sale from viewing to completion

Required profile

• Six months to one year of experience as a residential sales agent, with a proven track record of securing new business
• Excellent sales ability and high level of customer service skills
• Good telephone manner, positive attitude and ability to negotiate
• Tenacity, self-starter spirit and ability to build trusted relationships at all levels
• Responsive to change
