Sales Engineer – Technical Sales Representative

About the role

We are seeking a technically‑minded sales professional or engineering graduate to join a global engineering manufacturer. The role combines engineering knowledge with commercial responsibility, supporting OEMs, distributors and end‑users across industrial markets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop an existing portfolio of customer accounts.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities across the UK, Ireland and Nordic regions.
• Build strong relationships with OEMs, distributors and end users.
• Spend more than 60% of time in the field visiting customers.
• Provide technical advice and application support, working closely with internal product specialists.
• Support engineering discussions around existing and new product opportunities.
• Coordinate with internal service teams to deliver optimal solutions.

Required profile

• Technically minded sales professional or recent engineering graduate.
• Willingness to travel regularly and stay overnight as required.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
