Sales Event Planner – Charlton Athletic Football Club

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Sales Event Planner to drive sales and business development for the conference and events hospitality team at Charlton Athletic Football Club. This 12‑month fixed‑term position offers the chance to work in an iconic stadium environment, blending heritage with vibrant community events.

Key responsibilities

• Support the full event sales cycle, from initial client contact to invoicing.
• Lead venue show rounds and manage the sales diary.
• Coordinate event bookings in partnership with the sales team.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, internal colleagues, and venue partners.
• Provide accurate and timely information to customers, staff, and management.
• Collaborate with sales and venue teams to maximise revenue and promote the venue.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a conference, events, or hospitality setting.
• Passion for venue‑led sales and hospitality events operations.
• Calm, confident mindset with a can‑do attitude.
• Excellent verbal communication and decision‑making abilities.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Gratis booking system.
• Knowledge of Delphi booking system.
