Sales Manager – Freight & Logistics

About the role
Freightserve is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to drive growth for its freight forwarding business in the Farnborough area. You will be responsible for acquiring new customers, nurturing existing relationships, and meeting ambitious sales targets.
Key responsibilities
- Meet with clients virtually and on-site to understand their logistics needs.
- Identify and convert prospects into active customers.
- Profile customers and present tailored freight solutions across air, ocean, road, and courier services.
- Generate new business opportunities through proactive hunting.
- Manage and grow existing client accounts.
- Oversee sales leads, maintain accurate records, and review performance metrics.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
Required profile
- Proven field sales experience in freight forwarding.
- Ability to sell a full range of freight products (air, ocean, road, courier).
- Strong hunter‑type sales mindset.
- Commercial awareness of the logistics market.
