Seasonal Store Colleague - Part Time

About the role

This seasonal, part-time position in Newcastle upon Tyne helps the store deliver an outstanding customer experience during one of its busiest periods of the year. You will support the day-to-day running of the shop by providing excellent customer service, replenishing stock, keeping presentation standards high and supporting colleagues on the shop floor. Retail experience is advantageous but not essential.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a welcoming experience for customers, giving support and product information where needed
• Support store and team objectives through good customer service and product knowledge
• Replenish stock so products are available and presented to company standards
• Maintain clean, organised and well-maintained fixtures, displays and stock areas
• Complete operational tasks such as processing transactions, stock handling and preparing deliveries
• Use in-store technology and systems to support customer enquiries and daily operations
• Follow company policies, procedures and health and safety requirements
• Work with colleagues and support additional duties during peak trading periods

• Able to work effectively as part of a team and in a fast-paced retail environment

• Flexibility and adaptability to changing business needs

Requirements

• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
• Availability during the festive trading period, including key peak dates such as Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day where required
