Secondary Art Teacher (Full‑Time, Sep–Dec 2026)

About the role
Vida Education is seeking a passionate Secondary Art Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school from September 2026 until the Christmas break. This full‑time, five‑day‑a‑week position covers Art across Key Stages 3 and 4, with occasional Design & Technology lessons.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Art lessons for KS3 and KS4.
- Teach Design & Technology sessions as required.
- Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress.
- Create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
- Contribute to departmental and whole‑school activities.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Art in a secondary school setting.
- Ability to deliver some Design & Technology content (advantageous).
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
