Security Engineer – CCTV, Access Control & Intruder Alarms

About the role

We are seeking a Security Engineer to deliver installation, service and maintenance of IP CCTV, access control and intruder alarm systems across the North East England region. The role is field‑based, covering multiple client sites and offers a full‑time permanent contract.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, repair and fault‑find IP CCTV, access control and intruder alarm systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and ensure high quality workmanship.
• Communicate effectively with customers and provide timely updates.
• Support team members and share knowledge where required.
• Manage a range of manufacturer brands and adhere to safety standards.

Required profile

• Valid full UK driving licence.
• Positive attitude with self‑motivation.
• Willingness to learn and train on new disciplines.
• Ideally 3 + years experience in the security industry (not essential).
