Self-Employed Financial Adviser (IFA)

About the role

A client of Prestige IFA Jobs, based in London, is looking for an experienced independent financial adviser (IFA) to run their own practice. The adviser gives whole-of-market advice, supported by a team handling administration, compliance and research, so they can focus on tailored financial solutions and long-term client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Meet new and existing clients to understand their financial needs, objectives and risk appetite
• Give clear, compliant advice covering investments, pensions, retirement planning, protection and tax-efficient strategies
• Research the market to find suitable products and solutions
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships through trust and regular contact
• Stay up to date with industry developments and regulatory requirements

Required profile

• Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning as a minimum; Chartered status is an advantage
• Proven experience as an IFA or financial adviser in the UK market
• Knowledge of FCA regulations and compliance standards
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex financial matters clearly
• Self-motivated, organised and able to manage their own diary
