Semi-Senior Accountant (Part Time and Full Time)

About the role

Accountancy Elite is recruiting two semi-senior accountants in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire, on full-time and part-time bases. The successful candidate will have previous experience in tax computations, preparing accounts ready for review and dealing professionally with clients. The advertised salary is between £26,000 and £30,000.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Complete Self Assessment and Corporation Tax returns accurately and on time.
• Provide training and support to junior team members to help them develop professionally.

Required profile

• Previous experience in tax computations and client-facing accountancy work.
• 3 years' experience in a UK accountancy practice is desirable.
• Professional accounting qualifications such as AAT or part-qualified ACCA.
• Strong time management, organisational and communication skills, and enthusiasm for delivering high-quality service to clients.

Required skills

• Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero and Digita.
• Knowledge of the Xero and Digita suite is preferred.
