SEN Teacher – Specialist Education

About the role
We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teacher to join our specialist setting in Buckinghamshire. The role involves delivering high‑quality, personalised learning experiences for pupils with a wide range of additional needs.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and evaluate differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
- Develop and implement personalised learning programmes aligned with EHCP outcomes.
- Support pupils with complex learning, communication and sensory needs.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, families and external professionals.
- Monitor, assess and record pupil progress, adapting strategies as required.
- Create an inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour.
- Contribute to annual reviews, multidisciplinary meetings and wider school activities.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching pupils with SEN in specialist or mainstream settings.
- Experience with complex needs such as ASD, SLD, PMLD, communication and sensory processing differences.
- Calm, patient and adaptable approach with strong behaviour management skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
