SEN Teaching Assistant – Full‑time, Ealing (ASAP)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a well‑established special‑needs school in Ealing. The position is full‑time and long‑term, with an immediate start date. You will work closely with students aged 5‑16 who have ASD, ADHD, and moderate learning difficulties.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support to pupils with special educational needs.
• Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation, delivery, and classroom management.
• Implement behaviour management strategies and support positive student outcomes.
• Collaborate with other professionals to develop and review individual education plans.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and activities.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a SEN teaching assistant role, supporting ASD and ADHD.
• Strong communication and behaviour management abilities.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Enhanced DBS check on the update service.

Required skills

• Experience delivering 1:1 and small‑group educational support.
• Knowledge of strategies for managing ASD and ADHD behaviours.
