SEN Tutor – One-to-One Tuition in Canterbury

About the role

We are seeking passionate SEN Tutors to deliver personalised, one‑to‑one tuition for children with Special Educational Needs in Canterbury and surrounding areas. You will work with pupils who have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and support them in achieving their academic and developmental goals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one, needs‑based tuition sessions for pupils with EHCPs.
• Adapt teaching strategies to individual learning challenges and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with parents, carers and external professionals to support each child’s development.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance and progress.

Required profile

• Prior experience working with children or young people with special educational needs.
• Strong understanding of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and targeted interventions.
• Excellent communication, patient and supportive approach.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
