SEND Outreach Tutor (QTS) – Part‑time, Corby

About the role
This part‑time SEND Outreach Tutor position supports young people with additional learning and emotional needs in Corby. Working 10‑20 hours per week during term‑time, you will deliver a tailored curriculum either at school or in the pupil’s home.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver sessions in partnership with teachers and support staff.
- Adapt curriculum content to suit each student’s pace and needs.
- Build trust and provide a safe, emotionally supportive environment.
- Identify and respond to sensory or emotional challenges.
- Encourage communication, offer processing time and flexible choices.
- Promote emotional regulation through calm, consistent approaches.
- Accompany students to familiar, supportive settings when required.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) holder.
- Experience supporting autistic children or young people with additional needs.
- Flexibility in delivery method (school or home).
- Own transportation for travel within Corby.
- Experience with SEMH needs is beneficial but not essential.
Required skills
