Senior Associate - Innovation

About the role

The Scottish National Investment Bank is looking for a Senior Associate – Innovation to support its Innovation investment team. You will help drive sustainable growth across Scotland by analysing financial and commercial aspects of potential investments and assisting throughout the deal lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and interpret financial and commercial valuation models for investment decisions.
• Conduct desktop research and independent due‑diligence on prospective opportunities.
• Draft investment committee papers and contribute to investment memos.
• Provide end‑to‑end deal execution support, balancing multiple time‑critical transactions.

Required profile

• Degree in Business, Finance or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Professional qualification such as CA, CFA is highly regarded.
• Experience in M&A, transactional banking, investment or corporate finance.
• Ability to work flexibly under client‑driven deadlines within a collaborative team.
