Senior AV Technician – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term Contract

About the role

ProAV, a global audio‑visual integrator, is seeking a Senior AV Technician on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract to lead the onsite AV service for a key client in Birmingham. You will be the primary on‑site representative, responsible for the day‑to‑day operation, maintenance and improvement of the client’s AV estate.

Key responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve the onsite AV service, ensuring meeting rooms, collaboration tools and event spaces deliver a reliable user experience.
• Provide first‑ and second‑line technical support and act as the main point of contact for client stakeholders.
• Coordinate specialist engineering, projects and events teams to resolve issues and implement enhancements.
• Maintain operational readiness of all AV equipment and infrastructure.
• Build trusted relationships with the client’s organisation and proactively identify improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an AV technician or similar role, with the ability to work autonomously.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and confidence to make informed decisions independently.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build trust with diverse stakeholders.
