Senior BIM Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a Senior BIM Coordinator to join a newly created team in our Bristol office. You will lead the production and maintenance of building information models and drawings, supporting design and construction across M&E projects. This position offers the chance to develop your career within a leading UK M&E contractor.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor the BIM team on assigned projects, ensuring delivery within budget and programme.
• Produce and maintain coordinated building information models and drawings for design, installation and manufacturing stages.
• Run regular coordination review meetings using 3D models to communicate variations and updates.
• Maintain knowledge of MEP systems to deliver optimised, CDM‑compliant solutions.
• Visit construction sites to understand installation practices and improve modelling effectiveness.
• Develop team skills in software, MEP systems and coordination, providing guidance and feedback.
• Generate drawings from 3D models for design, installation and manufacture, incorporating NG Bailey Offsite solutions where possible.

Required profile

• Experience managing BIM Technicians or similar staff.
• Strong background in BIM, CAD and Revit within MEP projects.
• Solution‑oriented mindset with the ability to think creatively.
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain BIM concepts to clients with limited technical knowledge.
