Senior Business Development Manager – Consumer Insights

About the role

We are seeking a driven Senior Business Development Manager to join a leading consumer insights and data company. You will help expand the business across UK and global markets, working with top‑tier brands in FMCG, retail, pharma, healthcare and more.

Key responsibilities

• Sell subscriptions and data licences for a premium consumer insights platform.
• Own the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing (average deal size £50k, up to £250k+).
• Target senior stakeholders such as CFOs, CIOs and CEOs.
• Attend key client meetings, industry events and occasional international travel.
• Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets.

Required profile

• 3+ years B2B sales experience, preferably in subscriptions, SaaS, business intelligence or consumer insights.
• Proven record of closing deals and surpassing targets.
• Confident presenting to and influencing C‑level executives.
• Experience with blue‑chip or enterprise‑level clients.
• Ambitious, proactive and commercially minded with aspirations for senior leadership.
