Senior Business Development Manager - Pensions Transactions

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to lead the origination and execution of complex pension transactions for a fast‑growing pensions organisation. This commercial, transaction‑focused position combines business development, stakeholder management and market representation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead transaction opportunities from origination through to execution.
• Build and manage relationships with consultants, trustees and legal advisers.
• Collaborate closely with actuarial, legal and operational teams.
• Represent the business at conferences, events and industry engagements.
• Support the development of a strong pipeline of future opportunities.

Required profile

• Qualified actuary, lawyer or similar pensions professional.
• Strong pensions transaction experience gained within an insurer, consultancy or legal environment.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain senior stakeholder relationships.
• Commercially minded with excellent communication skills.
• Collaborative, proactive and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
