Senior Care Assistant - Nights

About the role

Glenholme Senior Living is recruiting a Senior Care Assistant for its Thimbleby Court care home in Horncastle. The post is full time (33 hours) on permanent contract, covering night shifts from 7pm to 7am, including alternate weekends and unpaid breaks. The role supports residents in enjoying a fulfilling life, maintains their dignity and promotes independence, choice and inclusion.

Key responsibilities

• Mentor and support care staff during shifts
• Manage and administer medication
• Complete audits and update care plans
• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care by example
• Work closely with families so they feel involved

Required profile

• NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care
• Patience, a good sense of humour and the ability to listen well
• Ability to think on your feet and adapt to each night
