Senior Children’s Social Work Practitioner – MASH Team (South East London/Kent)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Practitioner in Children’s Social Work to join a Multi‑Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) covering South East London and Kent. This contract role offers a rate of £39.04 per hour and provides flexible hybrid working.

Key responsibilities

• Lead safeguarding investigations and coordinate multi‑agency responses.
• Manage complex child protection cases and produce detailed case reports.
• Provide guidance and supervision to junior staff members.
• Ensure compliance with UK child protection legislation.
• Contribute to service development and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Qualified Children’s Social Worker with extensive experience in a MASH environment.
• Strong knowledge of UK child protection legislation.
• Ability to work autonomously and lead a team.
• Excellent communication skills for partnership working.
