Senior Commercial Account Handler

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Commercial Account Handler to support two Senior Account Executives within a high‑performing commercial insurance brokerage. Based in our Macclesfield branch, you will take ownership of a varied commercial portfolio and deliver high‑quality client service.

Key responsibilities

• Support two Senior Account Executives across their commercial portfolios.
• Manage renewals, mid‑term adjustments and new business submissions.
• Act as the primary client contact, providing responsive day‑to‑day service.
• Negotiate with insurers to secure competitive terms.
• Process documentation accurately using Acturis.
• Ensure FCA and internal compliance standards are met.

Required profile

• Strong experience as a Commercial Account Handler within a brokerage.
• Proven ability to manage a varied commercial book.
• Acturis experience is essential.
• Solid technical knowledge of commercial insurance.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
