Senior Compliance Consultant - Digital Finance

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Compliance Consultant to join a well‑established regulatory consultancy serving Digital Finance clients. The successful candidate will work with a portfolio of financial institutions, ensuring they meet FCA obligations and maintain high compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Own and develop a portfolio of client relationships, delivering consistent, high‑quality service.
• Manage contractual scope and FCA regulatory obligations, including compliance monitoring reviews and formal reporting.
• Support clients with FCA periodic returns, authorisation applications, permission variations, and changes of control or legal status.
• Act as Subject Matter Leader on designated topics, providing technical guidance, identifying commercial opportunities, and shaping consulting methodology.
• Produce compliance documentation, regulatory updates, and thought‑leadership content for clients and the wider market.
• Research technical issues, share findings with colleagues and clients, and ensure all client‑facing materials use approved, current versions.

Required profile

• Proven compliance experience in payments, e‑money, crypto‑assets, professional compliance services or regulatory services.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom.
• Strong ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
