Senior Data Analytics Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Data Analytics Engineer to join a globally recognised entertainment and consumer business. The role is hybrid (2‑3 days onsite per week) on a 6‑month contract with the possibility of extension, supporting a large‑scale international analytics function.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into analytical outputs.
• Build robust data models and ensure data quality across reporting solutions.
• Work with large‑scale datasets in Azure and Databricks environments.
• Support and enhance existing reporting infrastructure.
• Deliver data products that drive business decision‑making.
• Present insights and recommendations to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Collaborate with international teams on ongoing analytics and reporting projects.

Required profile

• Hands‑on analytics professional able to work independently.
• Strong SQL expertise and advanced Power BI development experience.
• Proven ability to gather requirements directly from stakeholders.
• Experience in production data environments and modern cloud‑based platforms.
• Ability to own work from requirements through to delivery.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
