Senior Design Coordinator (Building Envelope / Façade)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Design Coordinator to lead the delivery of building envelope and façade designs across multiple live projects. You will manage design programmes, information release schedules and coordinate inputs from consultants, ensuring compliance with UK regulations and project requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Create, maintain and drive Information Release Schedules (IRS) and design programmes for all active façade projects.
• Coordinate internal design resources and forecast future staffing needs.
• Manage external design consultants and specialist inputs, leading design meetings and stakeholder communications.
• Integrate structural, thermal, acoustic and fire engineering inputs where required.
• Oversee design governance, including risk registers, change control and document control.
• Support Gateway 2 / Golden Thread information requirements.
• Produce KPI reports and drive continuous process improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in UK construction, specifically building envelope or façade projects.
• Strong programme and deliverable planning skills, including IRS management.
• Knowledge of UK Building Regulations, British Standards and NHBC requirements.
• Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
• Commercial awareness of scope changes, variations and programme impact.

What we offer

• Salary between £45,000 and £55,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
