Senior Electrical Engineer – Complex Electromechanical Products

About the role

We are looking for a senior electrical engineer to join a collaborative engineering team developing complex electromechanical products for highly regulated environments. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of electrical systems, from concept through to commercialisation, ensuring compliance and high quality.

Key responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for new product development projects, including system and subsystem work.
• Design, develop, test and validate electrical, control and instrumentation systems.
• Create and review specifications, test protocols, validation reports and technical documentation.
• Develop and execute verification and validation test plans.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives across products, processes and technologies.
• Collaborate with quality, manufacturing, supply chain, regulatory, reliability and marketing teams.
• Manage technical interactions with suppliers, consultants and external partners.
• Provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers and contribute to road‑maps.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 5 years of electrical engineering experience.
• Proven experience designing and developing printed circuit boards (PCBs).
• Strong knowledge of single‑phase, two‑phase and three‑phase systems.
• System‑level engineering experience with mechanical and overall systems integration.
• Experience controlling electromechanical devices such as motors, solenoids, heaters and sensors.

• Sensor technologies (pressure transducers, thermocouples, RTDs).
• Human‑machine interface (touchscreens, displays, printers, operator panels).
• Industrial communication protocols.
• Design for Manufacture (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
