Senior Electrical Engineer – Electrical Project Engineer (Basingstoke)

About the role

Kier Mechanical & Electrical is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join its Electrical Project Engineering team in Basingstoke. You will work within multidisciplinary project teams to deliver safe, compliant and cost‑effective electrical solutions for a range of construction sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Procure, plan and execute electrical works in line with Kier standards and UK legislation.
• Review and optimise designs together with design teams and clients.
• Manage change control procedures and enforce quality‑control measures.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to project team members.
• Identify project risks and opportunities and support mitigation strategies.

Required profile

• Relevant industry‑accredited qualification in Electrical Services and safety.
• Minimum CSCS and SMSTS certifications.
• Proven experience collaborating within project teams to deliver successful outcomes.
• Ability to understand budgets, commercial priorities and make sound decisions.
