Senior Electrical Project Manager – MEP Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Project Manager to join a leading MEP contractor delivering complex, large‑scale projects across the UK and Europe. You will own the MEP package from construction through commissioning on flagship, mission‑critical projects such as data centres and commercial fit‑outs, ensuring safety, schedule, budget and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Manage delivery of mechanical and electrical packages on large‑scale projects.
• Oversee programme planning, cost control, risk management and regular project reporting.
• Coordinate closely with design, commercial and commissioning teams.
• Lead subcontractors and supply‑chain performance.
• Ensure quality, safety and regulatory compliance across all MEP works.
• Support testing, commissioning and handover phases.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering MEP packages on large construction projects.
• Strong background in data‑centre, mission‑critical or similar technical environments.
• Mechanical or electrical bias with solid understanding of commissioning and building services systems.
• Previous experience with a recognised MEP contractor.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
