Senior Estimator – Fire Suppression (UK Remote/Hybrid)

About the role

Johnson Controls is seeking a Senior Estimator to support its Fire Suppression business across the UK. You will work on projects ranging from £200k to £30m, designing and estimating advanced fire protection systems for data centres, industrial sites, and commercial spaces.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales and Operations to develop compliant, cost‑effective solutions.
• Create outline designs using AutoCAD.
• Conduct hydraulic calculations via FireCad (training provided).
• Produce detailed tenders including scope, specifications, and pricing.
• Engage with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Apply industry standards such as LPCB, NFPA, FM, and BS EN 12845.
• Support Sales in securing successful projects.
• Act as deputy to the Lead Estimator.

Required profile

• Experience in sprinkler installation, design, or estimation.
• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with LPCB, NFPA, FM, or BS EN 12845 standards.
• Collaborative mindset with a motivation to grow.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
