Senior Financial Planner – Director Level

About the role

We are supporting a leading national wealth management firm in Bristol that provides holistic financial planning to high‑net‑worth individuals. As a Senior Financial Planner at Associate Director level, you will work alongside investment managers and specialist advisers to deliver tailored wealth solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive financial planning advice covering pensions, investments, retirement, tax and estate planning.
• Build and maintain long‑term trusted relationships with existing clients.
• Generate new business through referrals, professional introducers and personal networking.
• Conduct regular client reviews to ensure recommendations stay aligned with objectives.
• Collaborate closely with investment managers, accountants, solicitors and other specialists.
• Maintain an active new‑business pipeline and accurate client records.
• Ensure all advice complies with FCA regulations and internal standards.

Required profile

• Level 4 Diploma qualified (minimum) with a current SPS certification.
• Proven experience providing holistic financial planning advice.
• Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, inheritance tax and retirement planning.
• Demonstrated ability to build long‑term client relationships and generate new business.
