Senior Financial Planner – Wealth Management

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Financial Planner to join an award‑winning Chartered Wealth Management firm in the North‑West. The successful candidate will manage a client book of up to £50 million, advising high‑net‑worth individuals on investment, retirement and tax strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and acquire new high‑net‑worth clients in line with the firm’s growth plan.
• Maintain up‑to‑date CPD records and stay compliant with FCA regulations, the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 and the firm’s internal policies.
• Develop and present tailored financial solutions that meet each client’s objectives while managing risk.
• Maintain a current Statement of Professional Standing (SPS) and ensure all recommendations are fully documented.
• Provide ongoing service to existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.

Required profile

• Proven experience advising high‑net‑worth clients with assets up to £50 million.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
• Proactive, self‑motivated approach to business development.
• Current SPS and a commitment to continuous professional development.
