Senior HR Manager

About the role

The Senior HR Manager will partner directly with the CEO and HR Director to shape and deliver the people strategy for a fast‑growing financial services organisation. Based in the regional head office, you will champion a people‑first culture while driving commercial outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the CEO and business unit leaders on all HR matters, including workforce planning and talent reviews.
• Lead employee engagement initiatives and act as a champion for diversity and inclusion.
• Serve as the escalation point for complex disciplinary, grievance and employee relations issues.
• Work with Reward & Benefits to forecast headcount and manage compensation frameworks.
• Oversee the annual talent review process and support learning and development programmes.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR generalist or manager in a professional services or financial services environment.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to fostering an inclusive and engaging workplace culture.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations best practices.
• Experience managing complex disciplinary and grievance cases.
• Ability to design and implement employee engagement and D&I initiatives.
